Welcome to Butters Pro Skating!

I'll be brief, cuz I know you all wanna start playin' etc.

This game uses a similar engine to Stan Marsh Skateboarding,
by Matt Kennedy. Kudos to Matt for his excellent game.

Your job, as Butters, is to become the best skater possible,
by hitting places like Schools, Warehouses, Malls, Airports,
Streets and Skate Parks. By completing set tasks, you'll
earn money, and with this money you will unlock more stages.

To skate, you use the left & right arrow keys. Speed is
essential to getting higher air. When you're in the air, you
can do tricks. There are a total of 8 tricks you can do. 4 of
these tricks are easy, and can usually be executed within a
jump. The other 4 are advanced, and the only chance you have
of pulling advanced tricks off is when you get elevated off
a ramp. The Q, W, E & R keys do the advanced tricks, while
the A, S, D & F keys do the easy tricks. Each time you do a
trick, it loses a bit of value, so don't expect to get heaps
of points by doing the same trick over & over again!

Now for grinding. Grinding is a bit hard to do, but once
you've got the hang of it, it's simple! You can grind on
tables, rails and walls. Some other things can be grinded
too, like roofs of small buildings, hanger rails, and even
buses! To grind, hold down a grind key while you land on a
grindable surface! Keep it held down, because the second you
release it, Butters will stop grinding. While grinding, you
automatically move forward. You will need to turn often, or
else you will fall off the surface. Luckily, you will only
ever bail on a grind if you grind for too long. There are
4 different grinds. The longer you can grind for depends on
how fast you're going. For example, the Boardslide is the
slowest grind, so it is easier to control. However, it will
only last a few seconds. The faster your grind is, the longer
grind time you will get. To grind, use the Z, X, C & V keys.
You cannot jump while grinding - you have to release the
grind first, so you can only jump AFTER grinding. This game
is all about timing!

Well, this is basically it. Any more questions, contact me.
